Getting started
OK. So you've created your free Delete Litter account. Now what?
First, sending you a huge thanks for believing in what we're up to and joining the mission—we cannot achieve our goals without you!
After signing up, you'll receive an instant email from hello@deletelitter.com to confirm that you're a real human and activate your account.
Once you've confirmed your email, simply sign in to the Delete Litter (DL) web app on any Internet-connected device using your preferred browser. We designed DL to be a mobile-first web app experience, no app download or install needed.
On your first sign in, you'll be asked to set your litter collection goal for the next 12 months—minimum goal is 365 pieces, or one piece per day on average. You may increase your goal at any time.
There are five main sections in the DL app, all accessible by clicking on the avatar pic in the top right of your browser window, which opens the user menu.

Log new cleanup: Quickly create and save logs of your cleanup activities including: date, location (ZIP/postal code), number of pieces collected, photos, and notes to capture the moment.

Litterlog: View a summary of your progress toward your annual goal, your complete cleanup history, and detailed stats on your impact to-date.

Litterboard: See how you rank relative to our global community of Littergeeks and stay on top of your personal Litterlog Week Streak (these run Monday through Sunday each week)—as well as view other members' bios and show some cleanup love for their impact. Always good to connect with like-minded folks who care deeply about the cleanliness of our communities!

Challenges: Access public and private Litterboard team challenges where community organizations, local businesses, and global enterprises set up custom challenges for their internal or external audiences.

Settings: Customize your member profile—add a fun avatar, username, bio intro, country, and your social media links. You may also update your password, update account settings, or delete your account.
